Job Description:

• Client is seeking a Principal IT Systems Architect for Customer Web, Contact Center, Salesforce and Data related e systems and technologies.
• The Systems Architect provides technical leadership in strategy, roadmap, design, development, and implementation of technology solutions.
• This includes the assessment and optimization of system design and review of user requirements.
• Provides direction to determine technical and operational feasibility of solutions that are integrated with the existing or defined IT architecture and services standards, to meet defined technical requirements.
• Develops prototypes of the system design and works with network, cloud, database, operations, technical support and other IT areas as appropriate throughout development and implementation processes in order to improve system resilience and reliability.
• Also provides IT Solution Engineering technical leadership to ensure that design, development, and testing activities conform to the strategic and tactical direction for individual initiatives.

Job Responsibilities

• The Principal Systems Architect is responsible for developing the technical strategy, architecture, design, and system application standards for the overall Customer systems including Customer Web, Salesforce, Data and Contact Center technologies
• Evaluates project requirements and produces solution blueprints that enable project teams to develop systems that are robust, flexible, scalable, secure, and that support enterprise strategic initiatives
• Support enterprise architects, client portfolio leads and systems analysts to provide IT solutions that are consistent with Enterprise Standards, Architectures and Strategies.
• Responsible for providing senior level expertise on decisions and priorities regarding the enterprise's overall application system architecture
• Provides technical guidance to project and operational teams as appropriate
• Responsible for researching and providing guidance on emerging technologies and industry trends to better serve the Customer Systems and business organizations
• May lead complex projects or tasks that require coordination across various IT and business disciplines
• Deep level understanding of system integration and infrastructure processes and procedures
• Expected to develop, propose, implement, and promote continuous improvement
• Prepare power points and other documents to present to senior leadership

Qualifications

Minimum:

• BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business or related degree or equivalent experience
• 10 Years of IT engineering, technical analysis, design, and/or architecture related work with strategic thinking and presence
• Demonstrated experience in working with cross functional teams, both in IT and with business
• Demonstrated experience in AWS, Salesforce, Web and Data related technologies
• Hands-on experience with technology planning and road mapping and architecture tools
• Experience providing direction to one or more architects

Desired:

• Master’s Degree in Computer Science or job-related discipline or equivalent experience
• Experience with domain technologies and techniques, job-related
• IT-Information Technology Architecture certification
• IT-Information Technology Security certification
• AWS Certification
