If you are interested in joining our culture, we’re looking for a full-time Medical Assistant in our clinic located at 8877 Mentor Avenue, Mentor OH! Must have previous experience working as a Medical Assistant, knowledge of medical terminology, and previous scheduling experience.

Snapshot of Daily Duties

• Manage the providers personal/work/patient schedules
• Prescription refills/prior authorizations
• Manage patient prescriptions as directed by physician.
• Manage referrals as directed by physician.
• Answer patient questions. Notify patients of test results
• Assist with scheduling office visits, procedures, laboratory tests, x-rays, outpatient testing, hospital admissions and appointments as necessary.

The Must Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience working as a Medical Assistant required.
• Previous experience working in a medical office environment preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology required.
• Open to travel to the Beachwood Office location
