About the Position

The Air Quality Specialist will play an integral role in the daily operations of the company and contribute to its overall success. This position will support the Transportation department.

The ideal candidate has 1‐4 years of related experience including the development of air quality analyses. This candidate can work independently, demonstrates reliability, proactiveness, and strong communication, and has a desire to learn or experience other technical
disciplines including Transportation Planning.

This position is eligible for a base salary between $64,100-$81,800 dependent on experience. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for a bonus of up to 15% annually dependent on company and personal performance.

The Air Quality Specialist will perform the responsibilities generally described below, as well as any additional duties as needed to support the overall objectives of the company:

Responsibilities:

• Assist with the preparation of air quality, energy, greenhouse gas, and health risk assessments and/or noise impact analyses.
• Write proposals and assist with the development of discipline‐related marketing materials as needed.
• Ensure assigned project deliverables are accurate and delivered within the required timeline.
• Review and understand related traffic impact and CEQA/NEPA assessments as needed.
• Uphold EPD core values in everyday interactions with internal and external partners
