Purpose
The role of Communications Director is to multiply transformed followers of Jesus by leading communication efforts of Chapel Pointe in the context of a high relational collaboration and accountability. This role requires a firm grasp of the beliefs, values and strategy of Chapel Pointe and the ability to align volunteer and key leadership teams with its vision. This person is part originator and part implementer. They can also create something out of nothing and push existing designs, words, and experiences to be better. The Communication Director will foster buy-in and collaboration from the teams within Chapel Pointe through communication efforts. This person must be skilled at, and experienced in, creative communication--whether that be in marketing, sales, advertising, publishing, event promotion, social media, or public relations.
