The Certified Home Health Aide is responsible for, providing assistance to patients with personal care, activities of daily living/maintenance and management of household routines. Responsibilities can also include, but are not limited to:
- Understands and adheres to established company policies and procedures
- Performs personal care and bath as ordered
- Completes appropriate visit records in a timely manner per company policy
- Reports changes in the patient's condition and needs to the RN
- Assists with assigned personal care tasks.
- Assosts the patient in performing bowel and bladder functions
- Assists patient in maintaining adequate nutrition
- Assists patient with mobility.
- Puts customer service first and upholds the code of conduct
- Ensures that prospective clients and families receive the highest quality of service in a caring and compassionate atmosphere which recognizes the individuals' needs and rights.
Education:
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Professional Experience:
- Current CHHA license in the State of Operations
- 1 year of related work experience
