About us

Coastal Medical Group is a subspecialty group consisting of board-certified medical doctors, including spine surgeons, neurosurgeons, neurologists, pediatric neurologists, orthopedic surgeons, plastic & reconstructive surgeons, ear, nose and throat (ENT) specialists, ophthalmologists, urologists and pain specialists. Every member of the sub-specialty group is an MD with extensive experience in managing injuries of the musculoskeletal system to ensure that our patients get the best treatment possible. Highly-trained medical doctors conduct initial assessment on every patient, and then, coordinate the care accordingly with the best-suited specialists. This coordinated care ensures that all the physicians are communicating regarding a patient's medical management.

**Job Overview:**

We are seeking a skilled Practice Administrator to manage multiple employees, organize and coordinate administrative duties and office procedures for a busy multi-specialty medical office. The ideal candidate will have experience supervising staff in a healthcare setting, ablility to create and maintain a pleasant work environment, ensuring high levels of organizational effectiveness, and patient care.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities:**

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the following satisfactorily; other duties may be assigned:

- Manage and supervise multiple administrative and clinical staff, following up on work results

- Support company operations by maintaining office systems, overseeing operational procedures like surgery scheduling and coordination, scheduling of clinics to ensure proper employee coverage

- Design, implement and maintain efficient office procedures, policies and standards. Measure results against standards and make necessary adjutments

- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and quality standards

- Provide feedback to upper management on office workflow

- Handle patient and attorney inquiries and complaints in a professional manner

- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

**Requirements:**

- Previous experience in medical office management or related field

- Proficiency in practice management software

- Strong leadership and communication skills

- Ability to work well under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively
