We Are looking for an experienced Account Payable Specialist to process vendor invoices in a fast-paced food manufacturing company.

An Accounts Payable Specialist has the following responsibilities:

• Responsible for inputting AP invoices in Microsoft NAV in conformance with US GAAP
• Has a strong understanding of balance sheets and income statements.
• Ensure that vendor records/transactions are complete and accurate.
• Invoicing – 3-way matching and invoice entry to the correct general ledger accounts.
• Review and report on invoice discrepancies.
• AP Statement Reconciliations - Ensure that accounts payable liabilities are matching to vendor statement. Request invoice and POD copies as needed from vendor.
• Work closely with Controller and department heads to obtain proper approvals within company policy.

Requirements and skills

• Excellent use of Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Outlook
• Good math skills
