The Warehouse and Logistics Manager will lead, manage and develop the Hillsboro Product Company warehouse team to manage warehouse and logistics operations effectively and efficiently, including managing a warehouse team of approximately 40 people, overseeing inbound and outbound warehouse operations including overall inventory and component delivery for assembly, and coordinating with logistics providers and freight forwarders to ensure shipments depart on time and are compliant to use and international regulations

**Job Responsibilities**

* Supervise and develop team leads by assigning duties and coordinating workloads, monitoring performance and providing feedback; teaching, supporting and modeling Supply Chain and company policies and procedures; identifying training and development needs; and participating in the hiring, promotion, coaching, teaching, and evaluation of associates and leaders.

* Monitor and manage warehouse team productivity by preparing, reviewing and/or analyzing warehouse performance metrics. Communicate goals and manage the warehouse team, scheduling, duties, facilities and workloads in order to achieve company goals (e.g., production, quality, safety).

* Communicate and coordinate across departments to optimize processes and share information.

* Maintain warehouse safety standards by ensuring associates are trained on Supply Chain policies, standards and procedures; monitoring team compliance to policies and procedures; distributing and maintaining procedures and supporting documentation.

* Identify warehouse team and supplier concerns by listening, consulting with others developing a corrective action plan in order to resolve the concern.

**Requirements**

* Bachelor Degree or equivalent experience. Minimum of 5 -10 years logistics or warehouse management experience within a multi-disciplined manufacturing environment characterized by medium to high volume batch production where responsiveness is a key feature.

* Thorough knowledge and experience using SAP.

* Experience managing within a total Quality environment in which teamwork is essential

* Good interpersonal skills in dealing with all levels throughout the Product Company.

* Effective negotiation and communication skills.

* Time management skills with an ability to organize and influence others in an environment where there are conflicting demands and priorities.
