Position: Field Training Manager

Purpose:

The Field Training Manager is responsible for increasing sales and profits through proper people training and development as well as displaying excellent leadership practices. This role provides training leadership, direction and support for all our Pink Taco restaurants with the overall goal of ensuring the effective operation and success of the company through learning and development programs. Field Training Manager consistently demonstrates as well as enforces company policies, practices, procedures, computer systems, programs, and integrations. Pink Taco is looking for a FUN, FAIR, HONEST, HARDWORKING, UNPRETENTIOUS AND UNCOMPLICATED individual with a passion for hospitality and training.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensures all brands meet or exceed Pink Taco operations and quality standards through proper training, learning, and development initiatives.

• Performs location visits as assigned on a consistent basis to ensure team members understand strengths and developmental opportunities as they relate to quality and training standards. Provides a summary of visits to the Director of Operations.

• Organizes and monitors the progress of all Managers in Training and provides a summary of progress.

• Develop, conduct, execute, and evaluate training programs and content related to programs.

• Assists with the launching and training of New Restaurant Openings, Workshops, and training events.

• Ensures proper training of Certified Trainers and monitors the effectiveness of Certified Training Restaurants.

• Creates ongoing testing and evaluation processes that are aligned with Pink Taco standards of operations.

• Field Trainer is primarily responsible for training management team members, and current restaurants for any training needs.

• Responsible for training and certifying new and current managers and team members.

• Facilitate training and hands-on sessions for new launches (products/initiatives), as well as action and support plans for previously opened restaurants (e.g., underperforming restaurants, new acquisitions, etc.)

• Assist in training modules including but not limited to presentations, videos etc.

• Supports identification of future leaders among team members and facilitates the training and certification of field and restaurant trainers.

• Teach, coach, empower, motivate, and lead team members on new processes, process correction, expected performance, and performance improvement.

• Manages all administrative tasks associated with each restaurant training before, during, and after the training period in a timely manner.

• As a Training Manager, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the overall efficiency and technical operations of the restaurant.

• Compliance Training

Qualifications and Skills:

• Four years of training, learning, and development, instructional experience in the restaurant or hospitality industry preferred.

• Knowledge of Open Table

• Demonstrated success in training and people development.

• Excellent computer skills with experience in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. The ability to navigate through the internet and various software programs used by Pink Taco.

• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

• Ability to problem solve and handle multiple tasks as necessary.

• Be able to clearly and effectively communicate with team members and business partners

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; the ability to present, explain clearly and professionally.

• Analytical and problem-solving skills

• Ability to perform tasks from multiple tasks and projects simultaneously

• Highly motivated and a self-starter, who can take direction and lead others

• Ability to recognize problems, set goals and convert plans into action

• Excellent speaking and presentation techniques

• Ability to work with others and a team player mentality.
