Job Title: Registered Nurse - Med Surg/Telemetry (FLOAT)

Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Med Surg/Telemetry (MS/Tele) team in Lansing, MI. This position requires floating to all adult acute care units, including Medical-Surgical and Stepdown units. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, be proficient in EPIC charting, and possess strong skills in telemetry and dysrhythmia management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality patient care in various adult acute care units, including Medical-Surgical and Stepdown units.
• Monitor and interpret telemetry readings and manage dysrhythmias.
• Administer medications, perform assessments, and document patient care using EPIC.
• Work three weekends per four-week schedule as required.
• Float within scope to meet facility needs.

Qualifications:

• Active State RN license (must be obtained by start date).
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant nursing experience preferred.
• Travel nursing experience required.
• Telemetry experience required.
• Experience in interpretation and management of dysrhythmias required.
• EPIC charting experience required.
• First-time travelers are not accepted for this position.

Schedule:

• Start Date: ASAP
• Ratios: 1:4-6
• Guaranteed Hours:
• 36 hours for 3, 12-hour shifts
• 48 hours for 4, 12-hour shifts
• 40 hours for shifts under 12 hours (8 or 10-hour shifts)
• Weekend Requirement: Yes, three weekends per four-week schedule
• On-call Requirement: No
• Block Schedule: To be determined

Special Requirements:

• RTO must be submitted at the time of profile submission and will not be approved after the contract is signed.
• No RTO for July 4th and the following weekend.
• Modules are not billable; please margin for 5 hours.
