gpac is Hiring an Audit Staff Near Charleston, SC
We are a reputable CPA firm looking for a Staff Auditor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of Public Accounting audit experience, with CPA certification being preferred. Some day travel may be required for this position. If you are a team player, and a go-getter with an eagerness to learn, we would love to speak with you. Other Requirements are as follows:
Responsibilities:
- Conduct financial and operational audits in accordance with generally accepted auditing standards
- Prepare financial statements, reports, and other audit deliverables
- Manage multiple engagements and meet deadlines
- Work effectively in a team environment
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members
- Identify and suggest process improvements
- Maintain excellent client relationships
- Complete administrative tasks related to engagements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
- CPA certification preferred
- 3-5 years of Public Accounting audit experience
- Audit engagement experience
- Non-profit experience a plus
- Affordable housing industry experience a plus
- Ability to work independently and as a part of a team
- Well-organized and detail-oriented
- Excellent computer skills
What do we offer?
- 55-60 Hour work weeks Jan-March
- 4 day, 32 hour work weeks from Memorial Day to the end of September
- Bonuses on a discretionary basis
