JOB SUMMARY
The Excavation Laborer is responsible for assisting the lead excavator and helping with the installation of new underground water and sewer repairs, including Trenchless sewer.
JOB DUTIES

• Performs water and sewer line repair and replacement through excavation activities to include pipe lining trenchless method
• Locate problems using a camera and locator to mark where digging must occur.
• Operate sewer cleaning equipment including cable cleaners, jetters and chain knockers.
• Replace broken sections of pipe in ditch making sure all joints are tightly sealed and all pipe is properly supported before backfill begins.
• Camera scope each drain after work is completed and document.
• Prepare and record action taken, including maintenance and repair work
• Collect all payments for services including securing financing documentation.
• Clean work area when done, including sweeping driveways, sidewalks and raking yard.
• Wears floor savers while in the client's home and maintains a neat work area while performing a repair or scheduled service
• Tests each aspect of the job before leaving a home to make sure everything is working properly. Ensures the job was indeed completed correctly and eliminates unnecessary callbacks after the job is finished
• Explains each service performed to the client each time a repair is completed. Ensures clients are 100% satisfied with all work
• Conveys a safety-conscious attitude, both on the job and while driving
• Maintains cleanliness inside and outside of vehicles at all times

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Experience with CIPP Epoxy pipe lining a plus but not required
• Knowledge of plumbing field concepts, practices, best practices, procedures, tools and equipment
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
• Clean background with no felonies

Compensation: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
