Hexagon Safety, Infrastructure & Geospatial is Hiring an Interface Developer Near Madison, AL
The position requires communicating with a project team, functional team, customers, service managers, project managers and third-party vendors.
Responsibilities may include:
- Participating in project requirement gathering sessions.
- Preparing and maintaining software design documentation.
- Developing product to customer requirements.
- Support testing with customers and third-party vendors.
- Providing second tier support for custom software deliverables.
- Performing project delivery tasks within stated budget and schedule.
- Staying abreast of Public Safety industry standards and specifications related to product development.
- Mentoring new employees as necessary.
- A bachelor’s degree in computer science, MIS or related field or commensurate, documented experience in a role with similar responsibilities
- 7 years’ experience in software development
- Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
- Good organizational skills and detail-oriented mindset
- Experience in public safety workflows preferred
- Experience in developing Public Safety applications, such as Criminal Justice Information Systems (CJIS) and National Crime Information Center (NCIC) Interfacing preferred
- Working Knowledge of: C#, C , XML/XSL, JSON, SQL, HTTP/REST, REACT, WCF, GIT, Microsoft Azure DevOps
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure Cloud Services is a plus
