This multifaceted role requires a blend of hospitality, coffee expertise, and teamwork to ensure guests receive top-notch service and delicious beverages in a vibrant and welcoming environment. $33.00-$40.00/hr with Tips is the expected pay.

Key Responsibilities:

• Customer Service Excellence:
• Greet customers warmly and provide friendly, attentive service throughout their dining experience.
• Take orders accurately and efficiently, offering recommendations and answering questions about the menu items, including coffee selections and food options.
• Anticipate guest needs and ensure their satisfaction by promptly addressing any concerns or special requests.
• Barista Duties:
• Prepare and serve a variety of high-quality coffee beverages, including espresso, cappuccino, latte, and specialty drinks, following established recipes and techniques.
• Grind coffee beans, steam milk, and operate espresso machines with precision to ensure consistency and freshness in every cup.

3. Food Service Support:

• Assist in food preparation and plating as needed, ensuring all dishes are presented beautifully and meet quality standards.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food and beverage orders and ensure timely delivery to guests' tables.
• Clear tables efficiently and reset them for the next guests, maintaining cleanliness and organization in the dining area.
• Product Knowledge and Upselling:
• Develop a deep understanding of the coffee farm's products, including various coffee blends, single-origin beans, and retail merchandise.
• Actively promote additional menu items, seasonal specials, and retail products to increase sales and enhance the overall guest experience.
• Team Collaboration:
• Work closely with fellow team members, including servers, kitchen staff, and management, to ensure seamless service and a positive work environment.
• Communicate effectively and proactively assist teammates during busy periods to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.
• Adherence to Policies and Procedures:
• Follow all restaurant policies and procedures, including health and safety guidelines, food handling protocols, and cleanliness standards.
• Maintain a neat and professional appearance at all times, including wearing the provided uniform and name tag.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a customer service or food service role, preferably in a restaurant or café setting.
• Knowledge and passion for coffee, with experience as a barista preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact positively with guests and team members.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Food handler's certification or willingness to obtain one.
