Who are you?

You are someone who has a Bachelor's Degree in accounting, finance, or related field and looking to take the credit analyst career path. If so, C&N may be the perfect fit for you! We are currently seeking a detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Credit Analyst I. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to conduct credit investigations and analyze routine credit information pertaining to commercial loans. You will be responsible for:

1. Spreading, reviewing, and analyzing financial statements and related material for basic existing and prospective borrowers.
2. Developing the credit approval documentation to assist in the lending decision on new, renewal, and extension loans.
3. Investigating all available sources of credit and financial information, including report services, credit bureaus, the Risk Management Association, industry trends, and other companies.
4. Preparing annual reviews on borrowing relationships in accordance with C&N’s loan policy.
5. Assisting in the assignment of risk ratings and with Credit Administration reporting. 

Requirements:

You will need a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a directly related field AND less than a year of previous related experience and/or training OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.

You will demonstrate well-developed abilities and/or proven record of success in the following areas:

• Detail Oriented
• Critical Thinking
• Strong Research Skills
• Knowledge of Accounting Standards
• Experience working with tax returns is helpful
• Ability to manage high volumes
