About The RoleThe Company is seeking a Vice President of Consumer Lending to oversee the strategic direction and management of the organization's consumer lending portfolio. The successful candidate will be responsible for the entire consumer loan life cycle, with a strong emphasis on enhancing the member experience and ensuring operational excellence. This role involves providing strategic guidance to the team for the achievement of consumer lending goals, optimizing loan production, and ensuring that all loan-related systems, policies, procedures, and processes are effectively implemented and measured. Applicants for the Vice President of Consumer Lending position at the company should have a Bachelor’s degree in finance or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A minimum of ten years of progressive lending experience within a credit union or similar financial institution, with at least seven years in a management capacity, is required. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of consumer lending practices and a proven track record of success in this area. The role demands a leader who can drive the business forward while maintaining a strong focus on the needs of the members and the overall operational efficiency of the consumer lending function.
