The Processing Manager is responsible for managing a staff of Processors and their pipeline as well as assisting with any closing and post-closing conditions. The Processing Manager will ensure an effective flow of communication exits between the Account Manager and Processor as well as the builder and customer. The Processing Manager will ensure outstanding customer satisfaction levels based on Company standards.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of their Processing team, including mentoring and training. Ensure timely flow of files into Underwriting and Closing. Answer questions from Processors on loan files and resolve issues with loan files.
• Ensure appraisals and IVES are ordered in a timely manner.
• Ensure Closing Calendar comments are updated by Processors daily.
• Review loan files for accuracy.
• Submit loan file for denial recommendations to VP, Operations.
• Provide coverage as needed within assigned regions when Processors are on vacation or on a leave of absence.
• Keep VP, Operations advised of all operational progress or challenges.
• Prepare semi-annual and annual reviews for the Processing team.

Education and/or Experience
Minimum five (5) years of Mortgage Banking experience. Minimum five (5) years of Mortgage Processing and Mortgage Underwriting experience. Prior management experience, managing Mortgage Processors and/or Mortgage Underwriters, preferred. Associate degree (A.A) or equivalent from a two year college or technical school preferred, but not required. Knowledge of the entire mortgage process is required. Detail, analytical, organizing, accuracy, planning, and customer service skills.
