Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Operations to oversee both our company's daily operations and drive efficiency and growth. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills and a proven track record in operations management.
Duties:
- Lead and manage a team of operational staff to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
- Collaborate with senior leadership to set and achieve operational goals
- Oversee project management activities to ensure timely completion and quality delivery
- Negotiate contracts with vendors, suppliers, and partners to optimize cost-effectiveness
- Create, monitor, and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) to track operational performance and identify areas for improvement
- Oversight of all airport operations and CSR personnel
- Direct management of region station managers (FNL, Colorado, Northeast)
- Maintain ongoing and positive communication with SOC/CRC, vehicle operations, and maintenance colleagues to work effectively as an operational team
- Foster positive relationships and ongoing communication with commercial and financial teams to meet organizational business goals
-Establish collaborative partnerships with airline operations members and airport operations personnel
- Plan, organize, and manage workflows of direct reports
- Provide proactive recommendations for operational improvement
- Training and development of station managers
- Approval of final station hours by individual station
- Management of facilities
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field; or five years in a Director level role in a similar capacity
- Proven experience in a senior leadership role with a focus on operations management
- Strong background in process improvement, project management, and strategic planning
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to analyze complex data, make quickly informed decisions without sacrificing critical thinking, proven results, entrepreneurship and full ownership over teams and processes
