Titus Talent Strategies has partnered with Geo-Logic Associates, Inc. (GLA), a multi-disciplinary civil and environmental consulting firm with 350 professionals in 28 offices in the United States and an office in Peru. GLA is currently seeking a full-time Project or Senior Geologist/Hydrogeologist to provide support for civil/site infrastructure, solid waste, mining, and environmental remediation projects.

Office Location: Ontario, California

The Project Geologist will conduct or supervise a variety of environmental and/or geotechnical projects:

• implement, and manage geologic, hydrogeologic, and geotechnical investigations
• construct, and monitor groundwater monitoring wells
• scientific data
• technical reports
• with regulatory agencies
• project timelines and budgets effectively
• in business development and marketing endeavors

Position requirements include:

• Bachelor of Science/Bachelor of Arts degree in geological sciences, earth sciences, geotechnical engineering or similar discipline
• Registration as a Professional Geologist in the State of California
• A minimum of eight years of experience providing geological or geotechnical services including the following:
• Groundwater hydrology
• Engineering geology
• Groundwater well design, construction, and monitoring
• Compliance reporting
• Strong project management skills, writing proficiency, and oral communication
• Strong attention to detail; ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
• Ability to work independently and with a team of professionals
• Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office suite and technical analytical software
• United States citizen or legal residency
• Be eligible to work in the United States
• Must possess a valid driver’s license

Preferred skills include:

• Advanced degree in geological science, earth science or geotechnical engineering
• Work experience in the solid waste industry
• OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER training and current 8-hour annual HAZWOPER training
• MSHA Part 48 surface mine training

Candidate will be expected to work away from home on a regular basis. Work will include daily travel, working at remote sites, and interaction with team members, clients, contractors, and the general public. Candidate will regularly work at municipal solid waste disposal sites, hazardous waste sites, and mine sites. The Candidate must be in good health, and must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Employment is subject to a pre-employment physical examination, including drug screening.
