Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Resource Development Coordinator to join our team. Reporting to and in consultation with the Executive Director, the Resource Development Coordinator is responsible for building and executing the development plan and coordinating support functions.
The Resource Development Coordinator will spearhead development efforts as the Education Foundation of Martin County continues to grow.
Organization Background:
Since 1991, the Education Foundation of Martin County has been fulfilling its mission to enrich and enhance educational opportunities and support for students and teachers in Martin County's public schools.
Identified as the strategic non-profit partner of the Martin County School District, the Education Foundation of Martin County (EFMC) is a 501(c)(3) community investment organization comprised of business leaders, community volunteers, and school officials.
The Foundation strives to increase community involvement and financial support of the educational process, encourage effective instruction, strengthen student motivation, promote academic achievement, and create initiatives that support dedicated and creative teachers; thus, supporting excellence in education!
As an independent group, the Foundation promotes this effort by raising and distributing private and corporate funds through a variety of award-winning programs. These resources exceed the funding capabilities of the school board.
