Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Fundraising Coordinator to join our team. The Fundraising Coordinator will be responsible for developing and implementing fundraising strategies to support our organization's mission. This role requires a strong background in public relations, negotiation, proposal writing, event planning, relationship management, volunteer management, constant contact, strategic planning, digital marketing, and research.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute fundraising strategies to meet organizational goals

- Identify and cultivate relationships with potential donors and sponsors

- Write compelling grant proposals and secure funding from foundations and government agencies

- Plan and execute fundraising events, including logistics, marketing, and donor stewardship

- Manage donor database and ensure accurate record keeping

- Collaborate with internal teams to create fundraising campaigns and materials

- Provide regular reports on fundraising progress to the executive team

- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including board members, volunteers, and community partners

- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in fundraising

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in a related field (Business Administration, Nonprofit Management, etc.)

- Proven experience in fundraising or development role

- Strong written and verbal communication skills

- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

- Experience with donor management software (e.g., Constant Contact) preferred

- Ability to think strategically and develop innovative fundraising approaches

- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

- Knowledge of digital marketing strategies for fundraising campaigns

- Ability to conduct research on potential donors and funding opportunities
