Singer Equipment Company Inc is Hiring a Credit and Collections Supervisor Near Elverson, PA
Overview
Coordinate and organize collection activities for the supply side.
Responsibilities
- Assist Supply Credit and AR team (Credit and Collections, Accounts Receivable) with issues and reconciliations
- Monitor Supply Credit and AR team (Credit and Collections, Accounts Receivable) with aging reviews/scheduling issues
- Interview and train new Supply Credit and AR team members(Credit and Collections, Accounts Receivable)
- Review A/R aging and provide management with customer-specific commentary
- Document collection activity
- Refer uncollectible/problem account balances to management for review and/or outside collection
- Secure supporting documents such as invoices, proof of delivery, original order detail and/or itemized statements upon customer requests
- Maintain proper credit hold status for assigned accounts
- Research to reconcile account discrepancies. This includes getting approvals from Sales and other internal departments and forwarding for credit processing
- Work effectively and professionally with the entire Singer team
- Monitor demand letters with follow up and review proposed payments plans/legal
- Monitor Weekly Prepaid Reports
- Monitor general credit department mailbox
Ideal Candidate Will Possess the Following Skills and Abilities
- 5 years of prior Accounts Receivable experience required
- Ability to train team members on Singer processes and procedures
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 applications, specifically Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Able to reconcile customer accounts
- Demonstrated analytical abilities and good business judgment
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision
- Problem solver with ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
