City of North Platte / North Platte Public Library is Hiring a Technology Assistant Near North Platte, NE
North Platte Public Library is seeking a part-time Technology Assistant. We are looking for a self-motivated, dependable individual who has strong skills with a variety of software, a desire to learn new things, and great customer service and communication skills. Possessing creative talent and/or crafting abilities is also helpful. Due to community growth, bilingual skills would be advantageous.
Primary position duties include assisting the public at the Technology Learning Center (TLC) computer area, Creation Station (CS) makerspace, and Circulation help desks, as well as conducting makerspace workshops.
Requires HS diploma or equivalent. The position is part-time at 29 hours per week, no benefits, with a Wednesday - Friday schedule, some Saturdays required. Starting wage is $17.91 per hour.
