Merit Services is currently seeking a highly skilled Sales Trader to join our prestigious client in Toronto. In this dynamic role, you will be tasked with overseeing financial reporting and analysis for our client located in Concord.

The ideal candidate for the Sales Trader position will possess a strong background in sales and trading, along with a deep passion for the ever-evolving financial markets.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Foster and maintain strong client relationships to drive sales revenue and cultivate long-term partnerships.
• Execute trades on behalf of clients across diverse asset classes, ensuring efficient and accurate transaction execution.

QUALIFICATIONS :

• Possess a Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or a related field, demonstrating a strong educational foundation in the financial realm.
• Demonstrate a minimum of 3 years of experience in sales and trading, showcasing a proven track record in the field.
• Exhibit a comprehensive understanding of financial markets and various financial products, enabling effective trading strategies.
• Showcase exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, facilitating seamless interactions with clients and colleagues.
• Demonstrate the ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team, contributing to collective success.
• Display self-motivation and a strong drive for achieving results, ensuring a proactive approach to sales and trading activities.
• Experience with trading platforms such as Bloomberg or Eikon is considered advantageous, highlighting proficiency in leveraging technology for trading analysis and execution.
