Overview:

Looking for a full-time sign fabricator & assembler to add to our team in Knoxville, TN. We are a fast paced, team oriented environment with multi faceted projects. This position is for a letter fabricator responsible for the fabrication and assembly of channel letters, sign cabinets, light installation, trim cap mounting of channel letters. Assist in and be in charge of channel letter bending and sign can fabrication. Assist and install 12 volt LED lamps and power supplies with assistance of a UL listed manager. Install letters and logos and mount on metal raceway. Inspect and prepare for crating and shipping or installation.

Responsibilities:

- Read and interpret engineering blueprints & shop drawings to understand project specifications
- Operate machinery including saws, drills, and grinders
- Measure and cut materials to ensure precise dimensions
- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
- Collaborate with the production team to meet project deadlines

Skills:

- Proven experience as a Fabricator or similar role
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong knowledge of channel letter fabrication techniques and equipment operation
- Ability to use various hand tools and precision measuring instruments
- Attention to detail and quality craftsmanship
- Good physical condition with the ability to lift heavy materials

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
