Job Summary: We are seeking a talented and experienced Building Architect to join our team. As a Building Architect, you will be responsible for designing and overseeing the construction of various building projects. You will collaborate with clients, engineers, and contractors to create functional and aesthetically pleasing structures. Duties: - Design and develop architectural plans for residential, commercial, and industrial buildings - Create detailed drawings using CAD software such as AutoCAD, ArchiCAD, and Sketchup - Utilize Rhinoceros 3D software to create 3D models and visualizations - Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and preferences - Conduct site visits to assess the feasibility of construction projects - Prepare project proposals, including budgeting and construction estimating - Ensure compliance with building codes, zoning regulations, and safety standards - Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and other professionals involved in the construction process - Review and approve contractor submittals, shop drawings, and material samples - Conduct periodic inspections to monitor construction progress and quality assurance - Provide guidance on sustainable design principles and energy-efficient building practices Skills: - Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, ArchiCAD, and Sketchup - Experience with Rhinoceros 3D software for creating 3D models and visualizations - Strong knowledge of building codes, zoning regulations, and safety standards - Excellent project management skills with the ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously - Solid understanding of construction processes, materials, and techniques - Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders - Business development skills to identify new opportunities and build client relationships - Familiarity with NavisWorks for coordination of architectural designs with other disciplines If you are a talented Building Architect with a passion for creating innovative designs and delivering high-quality projects, we would love to hear from you.
