Position SummaryUnder close supervision, Transcribes correspondence and recorded statements.
  • The hiring manager will consider candidates for Document Processing Specialist II. Level of position offered will be based upon the depth and breadth of selected candidate's experience and qualifications.
Duties and ResponsibilitiesProcesses documents utilizing required method.
Transcribes dictated correspondence, recorded statements and other media according to standards and procedures and referring to manuals when necessary.
Types and proofreads documents.
Reviews final copies for accuracy and queues to remote printers.
Updates statistical database information as needed to track operator/department activity.
Develops and maintains a working knowledge of various word processing and other software and technical resources necessary to perform job duties.

QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED required.
Must be able to work as a remote Employee after training period.
Proven ability to type 55 wpm required.
Proficient in computer technology required, including troubleshooting systems.
Basic knowledge/understanding of Microsoft Office Suite products and/or graphics software preferred.
