- Proactively search for freight hauls to ensure a backhaul return to Nashville and outlining satellite offices.
- Managing local and regional drivers to maximize daily performance.
- Answering phones and transferring to the appropriate individuals
- Communicate with our customers concerning all freight operations, IE confirming pickups- deliveries, and rate confirmations.
- Monitor electronic logs per DOT regulations
- Ensure drivers are on schedule for all routes and maintain 100 percent on-time performance
- Generate and compile reports as outlined by the Terminal Manager
- Generate freight trips in the company software
- Ensure all paperwork is processed and filed for payment daily.
- Minimum of two years experience in trucking industry.
- Background in Logistics is required.
- Background in Truck Loads & Brokerage
- Background in Day to Day operations (Local & Regional)
- Proficient in navigating freight load boards and backhauls.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office- Excel Word
- Proficiency with DOT regulations is required.
- Customer Service experience is required.
- Excellent communicator
- Able to multi-task and handle stress appropriately.
- Trucking experience is required.
- Willing to learn the industry and be flexible
