OverviewOur investment team is growing! We are seeking someone with financial services experience who is interested in or progressing towards the CFA designation. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, enjoys working with data, and is eager to learn more about investment management.
The Investment Consulting Group, a new service offered through our Wealth Management platform, provides data insights and consultative services to advisors managing their own models. As an Investment Reporting Analyst, you will play a crucial role in collecting and compiling data to demonstrate current performance and creating reports on potential changes to the models, enabling advisors to make informed decisions.
This position is based in our Lenexa, KS office and is exclusively onsite. Please note that the company does not extend sponsorship opportunities.
What You’ll Do
- Run reports, aggregate recommendations, and format recommendations for clients
- Run reports for regular attribution and assist in creating commentary
- Track changes to advisor managed models and document changes
- Prepare and send reporting packages to advisors
- Gather data for various meetings (e.g., semi-monthly investment meetings, annual Capital Markets Assumptions meetings)
- 1-2 years previous experience in financial services or equivalent education (Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Investment Management, Certified Financial Planning)
- Basic knowledge of investment products (mutual funds, ETFs, stocks, bonds)
- Experience working with Microsoft Excel
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently with resourcefulness and problem-solving disposition
- Progress toward CFA designation
- Experience working with industry systems such as Orion, Morningstar Direct and FactSet
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, Macros and VLOOKUPs)
