IT/Network Manager

Military veterans with experience in IT, communication, or network specialties are desired or strongly preferred.

POSITION SUMMARY

As the IT Manager you will play a critical role in elevating our IT capabilities, turning our current technology infrastructure, primarily centered around Microsoft 365 Suite of tools, into a fully functional and efficient business network. Your expertise in IT and network management will be instrumental in identifying and addressing gaps in our IT operations, ensuring smooth communication and data management across the organization.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ø Develop and implement a comprehensive IT strategy aligned with our business objectives and future growth plans.

Ø Oversee the setup, maintenance, and operation of our IT systems, ensuring seamless communication and data management.

Ø Swiftly troubleshoot and resolve IT issues to minimize downtime and optimize system performance.

Ø Implement security measures and data protection protocols to safeguard our critical information.

Ø Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address IT needs, fostering a strong business network.

Ø Evaluate and recommend innovative technology solutions to enhance efficiency and productivity.

Ø Stay up-to-date with emerging IT trends and advancements to ensure company remains at the forefront of technology adoption.

Ø Lead IT projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.

Ø Identify technology needs and make recommendations to business decision-makers

Ø Evaluate the company’s adherence to federal technology requirements for security

Ø Maintain company hardware and software programs

Ø Implement company-wide technology updates and hold sessions to teach employees on new features

Ø Be able to work on-site when needed to set up technology for Base Camps

QUALIFICATIONS:

Ø Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Information Technology, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.

Ø Proven experience of at least 3-5 years in IT management or network specialist positions.

Ø Strong expertise in network design, implementation, and troubleshooting.

Ø Comprehensive understanding of Microsoft 365 Suite of tools and their integration within a business network.

Ø Experience in transforming IT systems for young businesses or start-ups is highly desirable.

Ø Excellent leadership and team management skills.

Ø Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Ø Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders.

Ø Certifications such as CCNA, CCIE, CompTIA Security , or similar are a great plus.
