Job Description
Apogee Solutions, a Woman-Owned Small Business, is seeking a Wb Designer to support USSOCOM at Fort Liberty, NC. Qualified candidates must be a U.S. Citizen with a TOP SECRET clearance with SCI eligibility.
The Web Designer is responsible for providing robust, content reach, and easy to navigate websites as well as social media platforms and multimedia tools that permit 3rd POB(A) to achieve its objectives of disseminating relevant and engaging information. They will cover the full web development lifecycle, from requirements and development to implementation and maintenance. In addition, the Web Designer will respond to technical support requests and monitor message boards for recurring issues among users.
The Web Designer will:
- Research, produce, and edit content for all 3rd POB(A) web initiatives.
- Work with our videographers to create multimedia projects for 3rd POB(A) that includes production and editing as well as that adaptation of video content for Section 508 compliance.
- Manage social media platforms and develop content integrating with the associated website and spread to each appropriate social channel.
- Design images and graphic content, create web page layouts, and produce materials that meet 3rd POB(A) standards.
Required Experience
- US Citizen with a TOP SECRET clearance with SCI eligibility
- Bachelor's degree in web programming or design
- At least 5 years of experience in web design
- Possess the necessary web technology familiarity and coding skills required to develop, coordinate, design, build and maintain interactive, media-rich websites and prototype multimedia products for multi-regional audiences
- Working knowledge of industry best practices and solutions for hosted web solutions (websites) as well as digital media solutions to include email, short message service (SMS) and multimedia messaging service (MMS) which include advanced segmentations techniques as well as dynamic content assembly
- Proficiency in JavaScript, Java, HTML, CSS, Python, PHP, Ruby, Swift, C , and C
