SUMMARY:
Instructors have a variety of job functions including, but not limited to, successfully leading a class through appropriately designed routines, with proper music selection to enhance overall fitness, strength, and endurance, while ensuring the safety of the members. Recording attendance is considered an after-class duty.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Conduct engagingand dynamic Barre classes for participants of all fitness levels.
• Develop anddeliver safe and effective Barre routines that focus on strength, balance,and flexibility.
• Provide clearinstructions and proper form cues during class.
• Offermodifications and variations to accommodate individual participant needs.
• Create a welcomingand inclusive class environment that encourages client participation andretention.
• Maintain a cleanand organized fitness studio space.
• Stay current onindustry trends and continuously improve your knowledge of Barretechniques.
• Attend staffmeetings and training sessions as required.

Minimum Qualifications:
WHO YOU ARE :

• Certified BarreInstructor with a recognized certification (e.g., Barre Above, BarreIntensity, etc.)
• CPR /AED and FirstAid certification (Training provided by JCC if needed)
• Previous teachingexperience is a plus but not required; we welcome talented newinstructors.
• Excellentcommunication and interpersonal skills.
• Punctual,reliable, and professional demeanor.

PHYSICAL SKILLS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:
The work environment is often energetic and focused on promoting physical well-being.
The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
Physical fitness to perform and demonstrate exercises effectively.
