Job Description
The Digital Editor will be responsible for identifying, researching, developing and writing content for the website and daily (M-F) digital newsletter for media brand License Global, the leading multi-platform B2B publication for the global brand licensing industry. The Digital Editor will be a result-orientated professional, with exceptional communication and inter-personal skills, working closely with a variety of departments and roles across Informa all over the world with specific emphasis on interaction with staff across the U.S and London. The successful candidate will be able to manage multiple tasks and prioritize them effectively and will have a proven track record in content and website management. The License Global team produces print, digital, video and daily news in support of the Global Licensing Group at Informa. The Global Licensing Group serves an international community of brand owners, manufacturers, retailers and service providers through best-in-class trade shows Licensing Expo and Brand Licensing Europe; in-depth news and trend reports from License Global; and educational programs through Licensing Unlocked; and more. We are the market-leader in advancing the business of brand licensing, IP extension, collaborations and partnerships.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Identify, report and write compelling news stories on the consumer product space that will be executed on a Monday-Friday basis.
• Assemble, edit and manage distribution of daily, weekly and European e-newsletters, or additional newsletters as defined.
• Manage all aspect of License Global's website, including calendars, daily news postings, archives, etc.
• Manage License Global's social media tactics, sharing content and generating engagement across all platforms, including LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram.
• Produce and create multimedia content including short videos and graphic design projects.
• Collaborate with Vice President of Content, Content Director, Senior Digital Editor, Managing Editor, Content Editors and event stakeholders to forecast future editorial needs and identify trends in the marketplace.
• Conduct interviews and engage with C-level executives at some of the leading companies in the world.
• Attend relevant global industry events, acting as a representative of the publication.

Qualifications

• At least two year's experience writing for a publication or website (business or entertainment expertise is a plus).
• Strong writing, reporting and copyediting skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Self-starter who can find interesting news and stories to explore.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (particularly InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator).
• Proficiency with digital storytelling tools, SEO and analytics platforms.
• Knowledge of pop culture, brands, entertainment.
• Ability to adhere to strict deadlines.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 10%.
• Understanding of social media platforms.
• Confidence when speaking to senior industry professionals.
• Four-year college degree in journalism or a related communications field.

Additional Information
The salary range for this position is $63,750-$67,000 depending on experience
