K2 Partnering Solutions, a global leader in IT consulting and staffing services, is dedicated to pioneering innovative solutions for clients worldwide. To continue our strategic growth trajectory, we are seeking a seasoned Director of M&A who can drive our mergers and acquisitions initiatives to new heights.
Reporting directly to the CFO, the Director of M&A at K2 Partnering Solutions will spearhead our M&A efforts, playing a leading role in identifying, negotiating, and executing strategic transactions. We are looking for a visionary leader with a keen business sense, robust financial acumen, and exceptional negotiation skills to join our dynamic team.
Responsibilities
  • M&A Strategy:
  • Collaborate with the executive team to continuously refine the company's M&A strategy as it relates to new markets, offerings and industries of target companies.
  • Produce market research to identify potential acquisition targets and opportunities.
  • Deal Sourcing and Evaluation:
  • Proactively source and evaluate potential M&A opportunities that align with K2's strategic goals.
  • Conduct thorough due diligence, analyzing financials, operational performance, and legal aspects of target companies as well as strategic fit for K2 Partnering Solutions.
  • Financial Modeling and Valuation:
  • Develop detailed financial models to assess the valuation and financial impact of potential transactions.
  • Work closely with finance and accounting teams to ensure accurate financial analysis, integration plans and synergy identification.
  • Negotiation and Deal Execution:
  • Lead negotiations with target companies, brokers and investment banks, ensuring favourable terms for K2 Partnering Solutions.
  • Collaborate with legal teams to draft and review contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
  • Facilitating investor relations
  • Integration Planning:
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop integration plans for successfully merging acquired companies.
  • Ensure a smooth transition and alignment of business processes.
Skill & Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field; MBA Required.
  • Extensive contact database (eg. brokers, PE firms, etc.).
  • Prior experience working under a Private Equity Firm environment preferred.
  • Proven experience in a similar M&A role with a successful track record of successful deal execution.
  • Strong financial modelling and valuation skills.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Salary range: 150-180K USD 20% bonus
