DescriptionSalary: $26-$30/hour

Reports To: MAC Operations Manager
Summary Of PositionResponsible for the daily management and execution of Emerald Blue’s Safety and Training & Development Program. Maintain positive customer and employee relations. This is a 40 hour/week non-exempt position.
Essential FunctionsMust be able to work with little direction, be highly organized and a self-starter. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Highly effective in written and verbal communication. Ability to multi-task including management and oversight of multiple projects running concurrently. Ability to work a varying schedule in concert with the business’ operations. This role will work both in the office and in the field supporting and training members. Successful performance will be based on the following:
Training & Development Program
  • Support new hire program beginning with interview process
  • Deliver day 1 Onboarding content for all new hires
  • Track and manage all new hires with HR for 45 and 90 review cycles.
  • Ongoing training and development to occur on job sites 50% of the week.
  • Develop and Manage 4-6 co-trainers to execute program daily
  • Co-Partner with Field Supervisors, Operations management, and RCI Manager to facilitate Field and Safety Improvements
  • Participate in Job Development and Placement for existing employees
  • Serve as primary contact for current employee training programs and material
  • Provides performance feedback to crew members and coaches them on performance improvement
Safety Champion Program
  • Execute all duties and responsibilities as define by the Safety Champion role
  • Partner with Operations management for Field Leadership development
  • Manage biannual CPR/AED training and certification for Emerald Blue and ACI MN.
  • Perform weekly job site audit and review audits when completed by others
  • Train new hires and existing members on safety policies, work rules, and proper installation practices
  • Ensure Safety Program is integrated through all training material and content
  • Co-Partner with Field Supervisors, Operations management, and RCI Manager to facilitate Field and Safety Improvements
  • Support and manage OSHA 10 & 30 training initiative with Safety and RCI Manager
  • Lead monthly Safety meeting and post meeting minutes
  • Perform post-accident and injury investigations in partnership with HR and Safety Manager
RequirementsSkills and Abilities:
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple tasks under pressure situations
  • Demonstrates continuing responsibility for agreed-upon objectives; demonstrates a sense of personal accountability for achieving results; persists when faced with adverse/difficult situations
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbally
  • Ability to analyze both factual information and the non-quantifiable aspects of a situation and to arrive at a conclusion which maximizes the short and long range interest of the company
  • Knowledge of commercial furniture moving and installation warehouse and asset management, preferred.
  • Commercial furniture or similar experience (construction or trades), preferred.
  • Experience in project management and team building.
  • Strong leadership qualities
  • Demonstrates good organization skills
  • Is an effective spokesperson for company’s policies and services, representing Emerald Blue well to employees, clients, and the general public.
  • Captures lessons learned and shared appropriately for continuous process improvement.
  • OSHA and/or other safety certifications, preferred.
  • General computer knowledge required.
