This role is responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of the food safety and food quality systems, as well as the maintenance of the SQF (Safe Quality Food) Program across company sites.Summary:Responsible for developing ongoing evaluation and improvement related to all aspects of the SQF and prerequisite program to ensure their effective implementation and maintenance for all locations.Reviews all SQF related SOPs on an annual basis and coordinates with all other departments to ensure all SOPs are up to date for all locations.Performs daily monitoring activities on SQF programs including: Verification, Validation, Audits and Recordkeeping to ensure completion and compliance.Maintains Log/Action Plans of required corrective actions for non-conformance and ensures closure of these issues for all locations.Formulates and prepare appropriate reports, charts and graphs indicating the status of the SQF management system and associated projectsParticipates in food safety, regulatory, and other certification audits.Develops instructional training to clarify SQF procedures, policies, and requirements for all locations.Works closely with all employees to ensure that all employees understand their responsibilities and to identify and properly report concerns in accordance with established rules and programs.Ensures that effective programs are in place and implemented to produce and package all products in a safe manner.Develops, administers, and maintains applicable Food Safety Programs (GMPs), SQF Food Safety and Quality systems, and Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP) for all locations.Experience:Bachelor s Degree in a science related field and a minimum of five years

experience in quality/food safety.Certified SQF Practitioner.Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.Great communication skills (internal and external.)Detail oriented.HACCP Certified / PCQI Certified (preferred.)Travel estimated at 5%.
