This individual will work Project Management Office as a Project Manager.
ON SITE REQUIRED: 3 days/week (NO EXCEPTIONS).
Parking is NOT provided for contractors
About The RoleThis individual in this position works in Project Management Office as a Project Manager. The position will be responsible for providing project management support, specifically agile, for the TPL case management system and/or multiple PMO initiatives.
Duties
- Manage Full Project Lifecycle – Planning, Execution & Controlling, Reporting, Closeout for Information Technology (IT) projects and Business projects.
- Manage Project Schedules and Budgets based on executive management and business Subject Matter Expert (SME) input.
- Manage Stakeholder Communications and Expectations, including incorporating changes in direction by executive and senior management.
- Create presentations, dashboards, workflows and user stories as needed.
- Manage and/or perform requirement development. Execute testing of requirements as needed.
- Manage project risks and issues; keep management informed as necessary.
Skills
- Stakeholder Management and Project Leadership:
- Demonstrated proficiency in managing stakeholders and leading project teams for over 5 years.
- Successfully ensured effective communication, collaboration, and alignment throughout project lifecycles.
- Consistently delivered exceptional results by understanding and addressing stakeholder needs while guiding teams towards project success.
- MS Project Expertise:
- Advanced knowledge and over 5 years of experience in utilizing MS Project for project planning, scheduling, and resource management.
- Proven track record of effectively managing complex projects, optimizing workflows, and ensuring on-time and within-budget project deliveries.
- Excel and PowerPoint Proficiency:
- Extensive experience of over 8 years in using Excel and PowerPoint for data analysis and dashboard creation.
- Expertise in transforming complex data into actionable insights and visually engaging presentations, facilitating informed decision-making.
- Project Methodology Mastery:
- Over 5 years of experience in leading both Waterfall and Agile projects, adapting methodologies to suit project requirements and maximize efficiency.
- Ability to drive projects forward with agility, adaptability, and a focus on delivering value to stakeholders.
- MS Visio and Workflow Software Skills:
- Advanced knowledge of MS Visio and 2 years of experience in utilizing workflow software tools.
- Proficient in creating comprehensive process diagrams, flowcharts, and workflow visualizations, facilitating clear understanding and alignment among project teams and stakeholders.
- Active PMP Certification:
- Holds an active PMP certification, demonstrating a commitment to excellence in project management practices.
- Domain Experience:
- Highly desired experience working in Medicaid or Managed Care Organizations, providing insights into industry-specific challenges and enabling the delivery of tailored solutions aligned with organizational objectives.
