SUMMARY:
The Data & Performance Analyst will play a crucial role in our workforce development efforts by collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data related to our programs and services. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong analytical mindset and the ability to turn data into actionable insights. The Data & Performance Analyst will contribute to our organization's success by ensuring data accuracy, monitoring program performance, and helping drive informed decision-making.
Responsibilities:
1. Adheres to the mission of SERCO.
2. Data Collection: Collect and maintain accurate and comprehensive data related to workforce development programs, including participant demographics, employment outcomes, and training metrics.
2. Data Analysis: Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess program effectiveness and impact.
3. Reporting: Prepare regular reports and dashboards to communicate program performance to internal stakeholders, funders, and partners.
4. Performance Metrics: Develop and maintain a set of performance metrics and benchmarks to evaluate the success of workforce development initiatives.
5. Data Quality Assurance: Ensure data accuracy and integrity through data cleaning, validation, and documentation processes.
6. Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with program managers to identify areas for improvement and provide data-driven recommendations to enhance program outcomes.
7. Research and Benchmarking: Stay current with industry best practices, research, and trends in workforce development to inform program enhancements.
8. Compliance: Ensure that data collection and reporting activities comply with all relevant regulations and reporting requirements.
9. Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in data analytics, statistics, business, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Proven experience in data analysis, preferably in the context of workforce development or a related field.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and software such as Microsoft Excel, SQL, R, Python, or similar.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex data findings in a clear and understandable manner.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to data accuracy and quality.
- Familiarity with workforce development programs and industry trends is a plus.
- Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI is a plus.
