Position Summary:

We are actively recruiting for our first Integrations Project Manager to join our growing team at EyeSouth Partners.

This role is responsible for providing leadership for newly acquired practices during the integration process and working closely with senior executives, field practice management, selling partner physicians, and internal cross-functional teams in the development, implementation, and execution of integration plans for newly acquired practices.

Responsibilities:
  • Manages the entire lifecycle of new affiliate integrations, serving as the main point of contact, and setting integration protocols and process designs.
  • Develops and oversees the integration roadmap, communication plans, and the organizational design and implementation for integrating new affiliates.
  • Partners with senior executives and workstream leaders to devise and implement integration strategies that are well-aligned with the companys operational model, ensuring sound decision-making.
  • Participates in the due diligence process for potential affiliates, evaluates key issues, assesses integration challenges, crafts detailed post-closure plans, and highlights best practices or potential disconnects that could destroy value or create risk.
  • Engages with the Business Development team pre-close to identify early integration opportunities, understand practice pain points and key personnel, and tailor the integration process to address specific needs of new practices.
  • Identifies strategic and synergistic opportunities during due diligence, connecting these to appropriate department leaders to formulate robust integration strategies.
  • Analyzes the targets operations, reviews due diligence findings, develops strategic integration plans, and establishes tools and systems to support a scalable integration process.
  • Keeps senior leadership informed of critical issues and risks, actively driving issues to resolution and maintaining alignment on key integration metrics.
  • Manages integration governance, decision-making, and progress tracking, utilizing Smartsheet to monitor and report on integration efforts.
  • Builds and maintains strong relationships with doctors and staff at new affiliate practices to support them through transitions in management and leadership.
  • Facilitates rapid integration by supporting staff in managing the pace of integration, ensuring timely decision-making, and providing accountability for deliverables.
  • Travels as necessary to support due diligence and integration processes and leads comprehensive integration planning from pre-close through the first year of operation.
  • Drives enterprise-wide performance improvements and oversees the implementation of strategic recommendations.
  • Acts as the Smartsheet Project Manager for key operational projects beyond standard integrations.
  • Contributes to the team effort by completing other tasks/projects as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Finance, Healthcare Administration, or related field required.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in project management; PMP certification is a plus.
  • 3 years of M&A integration experience in healthcare, or involvement in 10 M&A integrations, preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex projects from start to finish, with proficiency in Smartsheet highly preferred.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities effectively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present publicly and interact professionally at all levels.
  • Ability to work beyond a standard work schedule and travel up to 25%.
  • Strong computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Team player that develops strong collaborative working relationships with internal partners and can effectively engage with ability to build consensus among cross-functional teams.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and excellent at organization and time management.
