Junior Environmental Engineer

A full-service environmental consulting firm specializing in air, waste, water and regulatory compliance management.

Revenue more than $25m per year with long-standing relationships with several high-profile Real Estate, Healthcare and Life Sciences organizations.
They are now seeking a Junior Environmental Engineer to join the team.

Responsibilities

• Communicate and coordinate with clients, contractors, project managers
• Coordinate/File with Federal/State/Local agencies for approvals.
• Understand environmental regulations (air, waste, water and building codes)
• Prepare contract documents and reports for a variety of projects, periodic compliance reports
• Site visit to survey existing conditions, take measurements, compile existing drawings, prepare base drawings, read/interpret drawings, perform EPA Method 9 testing.
• Data collection and preparation of as-built CAD drawings for DOB, FDNY and DOT permitting and other as-needed CAD assistance
• Attend project meetings as required, respond to requests for information·
• Will train for EPA Method 9 Testing (Emergency Generators) and ASME Testing (Boilers)

Experience Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
• Proficiency with Auto CAD (or equivalent software) and Microsoft Office applications, including Excel.
• Excellent written, oral and communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure, stay organized and continuously meet deadlines
• Willingness to learn innovative technologies and keep up with industry standards
• Must be eligible to work in the United States. Valid driver’s license and car mandatory

Salary: $55,000-$60,000
