Responsibilities
- Provide guidance and support to those constructing the building by ensuring that everything is aligned correctly.
- Utilize instruments such as GPS, total stations, and prisms.
- Interpret construction drawings to develop an accurate layout plan.
- Maintain scheduling by communicating with those in charge of running the project.
- Conduct regular inspections to verify that work performed by others is accurate.
- Resolve any conflicts that may arise during construction related to layout.
- Proficient using AutoCAD or other design drafting software.
- Works independently and can prioritize layout tasks efficiently.
- Is available to work weekends if necessary.
- Has a valid license and can travel to other projects as needed.
- Organized and can work ahead schedule.
- Excellent math skills with the ability to perform precise measurements and calculations.
- Able to work outside in various weather conditions.
