Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Material Coordinator to join our team in a fast-paced distribution center environment. The Material Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing inventory control, order fulfillment, and transportation management systems.
The person for this role will be packaging material, moving material from one location to another to support the operators. Works with Chemicals from Basic to PPE required chemicals (over 250 chemicals in this plant). Works outside, very busy role. Extra attention to safety and chemical handling. This is an entry level role. The right candidate will be someone with plant knowledge/material mover in a plant setting. Must be familiar with chemicals with confidence in moving chemicals. Very safety oriented. Confident driving a forklift, drumming system experience would be a plus but not required, they will be trained on both. Schedule/Shift: T
he plan is 40 hours week on days until we get training done. Once done we will work One person 10-hour days Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday. Off Friday, Sat. Sun. unless a OT situation occurs, but will not be often.
The other person will work 10-hour nights Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday. Off Friday, Sat. Sun.
Then the opposite week they will switch, the day person will go to nights and the night person to days. Day shift: Start around 7am (this could change) Night Shift: start around 7pm (this could change) 6 Month assignment with opportunities to convert. 100% on site Top 3 skills: 1. Pay attention to details 2. Not afraid to ask questions 3. Be self-motivated to execute task.
