Overview of the Lead User Experience Designer Role

As a Lead User Experience Designer, you will use your strong user-centered design skills to build best in class experiences across our brands. You will work on a wide range of enhancements to improve our customer and associate experiences. You will collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and provide design leadership to elevate our design practices.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the user experience for a range of projects touching our digital sites and internal applications with ownership over multiple domains.
  • Design high quality, compelling, easy to use solutions that solve customer and business problems.
  • Create user experience designs, interaction specifications, user flows, prototypes, audits, and journey maps.
  • Synthesize customer feedback, user research, and analytics to drive insights that make an impact.
  • Develop processes and frameworks that elevate our design practice.
  • Collaborate and work strategically with product managers, site managers, creative designers, researchers, and technologists to build great experiences.
  • Communicate and influence design decisions at all levels of our organization.

Criteria

  • You have a minimum of 8 years of experience in user experience design.
  • You have a wide range of experience in user experience including interaction design, visual. design, information architecture, design systems and user research.
  • A strong ability to lead the design through influence and inspiration.
  • You have excellent communication skills.
  • You have an outstanding design portfolio demonstrating strategic design thinking in your projects.
  • You like to work in a fast-paced cross-team environment.
  • You have experience with Figma.
  • Bachelor's degree in Design, User Experience, Human-Computer Interaction, a related field, or equivalent work experience.

The expected starting pay range for this position is $135,000 - $160,000 annually. Applicable pay ranges may differ across markets. Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law. In addition to competitive pay, compensation may include a variety of other components like benefits, paid time off, merit, and bonus opportunities.
