BlueHub Capital is seeking a Manager of Strategic Initiatives to support and advance the strategic projects of the BlueHub Loan Fund, a nonprofit, mission-focused community development financial institution with a national lending footprint and diverse borrowers across the housing, health, education and community facilities sectors. This is a great opportunity for a candidate with exceptional project management skills to develop leadership capacity in the community development field.
The selected candidate will work with Loan Fund leadership to implement strategic projects to achieve our goals and grow our capacity, in a manner that aligns with our mission and values. They will support the effectiveness, efficiency and impact of the Loan Fund by: supporting the development of strategy through research and coordination; managing cross-cutting projects such as funding proposals and reporting requests; facilitating training and development opportunities for the team; and optimizing our policies, processes and systems. They will bring to the position demonstrated experience managing complex projects or initiatives, commitment to the resiliency of low-income communities, and ideally experience in one or more areas of community development.
This position will report to the Loan Fund President and collaborate with the Loan Fund team and BlueHub’s core team to support and grow our agility, efficiency, effectiveness and impact. This is a hybrid position; this person will be required to work from our main office in the Roxbury neighborhood of Boston at three days per week, with the option to work remotely the other two days.
