Join our team at iSphere as a Master Data Administrator in Houston, TX for an 8 month compelling opportunity! We are seeking a detail-oriented individual to oversee and maintain SAP vendor and customer master data to ensure compliance with company policies and practices. Reporting directly to the Supply Chain Advisor, this role plays a crucial part in upholding the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of data within our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safeguard the organization's network database, ensuring data integration and processing are correct
- Adherence to master data governance, policies, and procedures
- Review and validation of incoming requests for accuracy and completeness
- Develop and enforce data quality control procedures
- Conduct regular audits to maintain data accuracy and completeness
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies
- Collaborate with internal and external audit activities
- Assist in vendor data cleansing activities
- Support Supply Chain and Finance with vendor management
- Ensure compliance with tax and banking documentation storage
- Maintain exceptional customer service standards when interacting with customers and suppliers
- Update process guidelines and procedures related to the job role
- Develop and monitor key performance indicators and control reports
- Implement controls to prevent conflicts of interest
Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma
- Bachelor's or Associate degree in a business-related discipline preferred
- 5-10 years of experience in SAP Vendor and/or Customer Master Data Maintenance
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in ERP (SAP) vendor/customer master data system
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office environment
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with SAP Master Data Governance or MDM
- Strong background in process improvement
