Job Summary

The Vendor Manager is the link between Greentree Legal and its vendor network/suppliers. The success of Greentree Legal is largely based on a network of quality vendors throughout the country who represent Greentree Legal while performing their responsibilities. The vendor manager cultivates and maintains relationships with vendors, negotiating contracts, and creates standards for the vendor network to adhere with continual review of performance.

The Vendor Manager will work closely with the Greentree Legal Operations team to maintain a seamless process while referring work to the national vendor network within expected, stringent, timelines. The ideal candidate for this role is passionate about great customer service, extremely organized and detail oriented, a self-starter, able to show demonstrated success in managing a workflow process, creating/maintaining communication with various stakeholders, leading people and establishing a metrics-driven approach to measuring performance.

Ultimately, an outstanding Vendor Manager should be able to multitask effectively as well as demonstrate exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. The position is empowered to grow and expand current network of process servers and expand into new markets.

Responsibilities

  • Recruiting new process server vendors
  • Negotiating contracts with process servers during onboarding
  • Executing agreements, fee schedules, and collecting necessary licensing/compliance documentation/information from process servers
  • Maintaining sufficient vendor capacity in each area
  • Maintaining current records for each process server to ensure compliance
  • Creating and maintaining an ongoing process server performance and quality metrics
  • Ensuring vendor compliance and performance standards through ongoing assessment of performance and compliance information
  • Create and perform vendor onboard training curriculum
  • Proactively analyze data and vendor information to resolve potential problems before they become issues
  • Managing vendor billing and pay rate changes
  • Managing vendor billing and disbursements
  • Developing and maintaining process server vendor procedure manuals
  • Hiring, training and oversight of additional vendor management staff
  • Actively Engaging with professional associations to include national and state level in online social media forums and/or conferences or networking events.

  • Excellent Microsoft product skills - high-level experience with Excel and Word required

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or 3 years of related work experience preferred
  • Minimum 1 year experience in a general office environment, completing a variety of tasks that require structure, prioritization and meeting variable deadlines with minimal supervision ·
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in roles with increasing responsibilities and ownership over workflow, project management and administration of duties
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proven track record of excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced deadline driven environment, experience managing vendors a plus
  • Effective problem solving and escalation skills
  • Must be able to work overtime as needed
  • Possesses the ability to learn quickly and comprehend work-flow processes and procedures.
  • Must be able to prioritize and re-prioritize throughout the day as needed
  • Must demonstrate strong organization skills to manage time
  • Friendly and professional demeanor
  • Must possess verifiable work history to support Resume.

Hybrid Working Environment

  • Candidate must be willing to work remotely and in office when required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $65,000.00 per year
