- Involved in designing and developing Amazon EC2, Amazon S3, Amazon RDS services of the AWS infrastructure.
- Built S3 buckets and managed policies for S3 buckets and used S3 bucket and Glacier for storage and backup on AWS.
- Established Continuous Integration (CI) practices and standards in creating APIs with Jira, Jenkins.
- Develop fully automated deployment processes. Involved in building and deployment of the application in Linux environment. Deployed application onto EC2 JBoss application server in CI environment.
- Developed new application and added functionality to existing applications using Java/J2EE technologies.
- Develop UIs with JSP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Servlets and Struts to add functionality to web application based on requirements, utilized frameworks such as Hibernate and Spring for persistence and application layers. Develop domain model and persistence layer for the GUI using Hibernate, Spring ORM.
- Designed, built and coordinate an automated build & release CI/CD process using Gitlab, Jenkins and Puppet on hybrid IT infrastructure.
Migrating and strategizing key system migration from on premise to Cloud hosting
Evolve systems by introducing new services and features.
Assess the tradeoffs and implications of architectural decisions and choices for applications deployed in AWS.
Design an optimal system by meeting project requirements while maximizing characteristics such as scalability, security, reliability, durability, and cost effectiveness.
Evaluate project requirements and make recommendations for implementation, deployment, and provisioning applications on AWS.
Provide best practice and architectural guidance over the lifecycle of a project.
Responsible estimating cloud services usages cost and identifying operational cost control mechanism.
Understanding of cloud security and cloud infrastructure services
