LHH is partnering with a stable and well-known non-profit organization that has been in San Diego for over 20 years to hire a Payroll and HR Analyst. In this role you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our client’s payroll and human resources information systems (HRIS). This position offers the opportunity to contribute to the organization's mission while utilizing your expertise in payroll and HR systems management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Audit HR and payroll data in the database to ensure accuracy and compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.

  • Develop comprehensive training materials and resources for the timekeeping system to facilitate staff understanding and adherence to payroll processes.

  • Proactively troubleshoot and resolve issues with the payroll system, providing timely support to internal stakeholders.

  • Document identified issues with the system and collaborate with the team to make recommendations for system improvements and enhancements.

  • Assist with the implementation of payroll systems and provide training sessions for staff members to ensure a smooth transition and adoption.

  • Analyze payroll and employee data to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for process improvement.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline payroll processes and enhance overall efficiency.

Requirements:

  • A 2 or 4-year degree in a relevant field is preferred. However, relevant experience in payroll processing and HRIS management will be considered in lieu of a degree.

  • In-depth knowledge of payroll processing principles and HRIS systems, with a strong understanding of relevant regulations and compliance requirements.

  • Demonstrated experience with payroll systems implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance.

  • Proficiency in utilizing various software applications, with strong systems experience and proficiency in Intermediate Excel and Access.

  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data management and analysis.

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

Pay Details: $31.00 to $32.00 per hour
