Supervise and coordinate activities of concrete construction workers in the building of walls. Charles Blalock and Sons is searching for a concrete supervisor that has experience in the construction of concrete walls and/or bridges. The project is located in Robbinsville, NC (Graham County). They would have direct control of the worksite to ensure compliance to production, cost, quality, environmental, and safety specifications.

Bridge Supervisor are required to have the following skill sets:

• Knowledge of concrete wall and/or bridge construction
• Ability to review work in progress to ensure conformance with plans and specifications
• Ability to develop and execute work schedules for subordinate workers
• Ability to read and Interpret plans and blueprints
• Functional understanding of mathematics
• Functional knowledge of how to operate the equipment
• Functional understanding of environmental and safety requirements
• Functional knowledge of legal standards related to Human Resources
• Functional computer skills (Microsoft Office and HeavyJob)
• Conduct weekly Tool Box talks and daily safety briefings
• Develop employees
• Employee selection gives preference to related construction experience and work related education

Bridge employees are required to meet the following

• Prior to starting work an employee must

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $1,700.00 - $1,800.00 per week
