The Graphics Manager is responsible for overall management of all packaged design initiatives for a selected set of brands. The position functions as the liaison between marketing/business managers and design consultancies, pre-press companies and print vendors. The Graphics Manager will collaborate with marketing/business development for design development phases; lead the project through design approvals, information & content gathering and print production and lead cross functional teams throughout the process.
Core Responsibilities
Manages the daily art workflow process for package design and other selected projects collaborating with design consultancies, graphics management, print and pre-press vendors and marketing management to ensure timely implementation and production.
Anticipates obstacles/problems/bottlenecks and acts proactively to avoid and/or prepare contingencies.
Manages collection and organization of all content for packaging - dielines, photos/illustrations, cooking instructions, nutritionals, ingredients, UPCs, etc and communicate to design consultancies.
Orchestrates review and approval of all packaging design, working closely with cross-functional team (Marketing, Business Development, Regulatory, Commercialization, R&D, Operations, Engineering, & Plant personnel, etc.).
Establishes project timelines for design development and production, develops and manages budgets for production.
Conducts weekly standing project and graphics team meetings, to track schedules and production timing across multiple projects.
Directs design development for corrugated displays & boxes.
Provides technical guidance and input across multiple printing processes to ensure that final printed packaging meets quality & color expectations. Attends initial press runs as needed.

Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Bachelor's degree from an accreditedfour-year college or university in Graphic Design, Marketing or related field and 5 years relevant experience inproject management for print/marketing/package design, print production and/or agency/design firm client service, or equivalent combination of education and experience, required.
2 years of demonstrated experience in team management/development or project leadership is required.
Strong knowledge of print production management.
Moderate proficiency and knowledge of Adobe Illustrator.
Strong proficiency in Apple OS andMS Office.
Ability to make minor revisions to production files in Adobe Illustrator, aplus.
Strong attention to detail in bothwritten and verbal communication.
Ability to communicate effectively and develop positive relationships when part of a dynamic and cross-functional team.
Well organized and able to handle multiple projects & priorities.
Willingnessto learn new things and with a focus on continuous improvement.
Abilityto travel up to 10% of the time.
Ability to work well with others in fast paced, dynamic environment.
Ability to be respectful, approachable and team oriented while building strong working relationships and a positive work environment.
